  Very dirty and rundown amenties. Staff very unpleasant. Too expensive. Noisy, drunk permanent residents partied all night. Very untidy grounds.

  Have stayed here several times, the staff are always friendly and helpful and the park and ammenities are clean. Will be staying again when I visit Cardwell and will definitely recommend to others.

  Had a wonderful stay in a villa recently. Quiet, clean and the owners were very friendly and welcoming.

  If you want a restful place to stay while in Cardwell DO NOT STAY AT THE KOOKABURRA it would be more peaceful staying in a camp site situated at the end of a 24 hour RAAF base airstrip with Hornets taking off constantly....
