  A delightful historic little town with a lovely beachfront and well landscaped foreshore. Not a swimming beach however due to crocs. But pretty and scenic. The rooms are well appointed clean and comfortable. The owners very friendly and helpful. Finally great value too. We wish had a longer stay.

  The “honeymoon suite” was fabulous! Awesome view of the bay. Nice large room with 2 sliding doors to take advantage of the nice breezes. With the doors open and 2 ceiling fans, we didn’t need air conditioning, which was great. Everything was clean as a pin and we enjoyed sitting on our private balcony. Enjoyed a refreshing lounge in their pool. Nice walk along the coast to several restaurants and shops. Very relaxing and convenient. Owners were great.

  Couldnt ask for better service and sich lovely people running this little motel. Arrived tired and they helped with suitcase etc to room...so grateful to meet such wonderful people. Rooms lovely.clean....want for nothing.....love it....will be back guys thankyou.

  Highly recommended! The hosts were absolutely fantastic. Very welcoming and extremely helpful. Perfect for those who are doing the Hinchinbrook Island trek. I stayed there 2 separate days in the week and the rooms were immaculate each time. Great place. Definitely will stay there again may I go to Cardwell again!
